The Challenge

The client identified critical wall-thinning in a 24-inch crude transport line. Due to the high-pressure environment and the age of the infrastructure, a complete shutdown was not an option, requiring a phased intervention without compromising environmental safety.

Our Solution

OGIV deployed a specialized technical team to execute sectional replacement. Our scope included 3D ultrasonic scanning, fabrication of replacement spools under ISO standards, and high-precision welding. We integrated NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) at every weld joint to ensure absolute integrity.

Quality Control

Every step of the construction followed the 'Goal Zero' safety framework. Final hydrostatic testing was performed to 1.5x the maximum operating pressure, witnessed and approved by third-party auditors.

Project Methodology & Equipment

Advanced NDT

Utilization of Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) to ensure zero-defect welding on all critical pressure vessels.

Field Logistics

Deployment of specialized heavy-lift cranes and all-terrain transport for remote swamp-site accessibility.

Digital Monitoring

Real-time project tracking using Primavera P6 to ensure all milestones align with the client’s critical path.
